Cortijo el Medico is the perfect retreat when you need to get away from everyday hustle and simply relax. The vineyard is situated "on top of the world", at 1050 meters above sea level. Surrounded by vines, almond and olive trees. Breathtaking views. Close to everything the amazing mountain region of Alpujarra has to offer: Charming Moorish villages, stunning hiking- cycling and even ridingtracks, and lovely local food and wine. And if you´d miss the beach, it is only a 40 minutes drive away.
The farm is situated in the mountains, and to get here, when turning off from the main road, you can choose between taking a steep gravel road for 1,5 km or a longer scenic road, also gravel, for 4,6 km. These are typical farm roads for the Alpujarra area, do not expect the roads to be like in the city (you get more info in our welcome mail).

You are likely to encounter bugs and lizards.
We are off grid and DO NOT have air condition (but we do have powerful fans in all rooms).
The closest shop is 15 minutes drive from the farm.
